Family Time

Gathered around the computer in our office everyone is having a wonderful time especially Eric.
General Conference was wonderful. I loved all the talks! Talk about having your spiritual batteries recharged!

This is a watermelon from our garden. It was soooo good!! The birds got all the rest of them though...apparently they were a little too good.

Loved this!!

"Two Wolves" - {Cherokee Wisdom}

One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all.

One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

Summertime

This little pool was the best $50 we have ever spent. It kept us cool and even helped mom
to survive the AZ heat during my last trimester.

Eric and I had a blast on our little get-a-away before baby Rachel comes.

Hello Dolly

Eric's sister Denise and our nephew Alec were in a play called "Hello Dolly"
They did a great job. It was so fun to go and watch them in the play.
Grampa and Gramma Benefield and Great Grandma Berg were even able to come.

Fun on a four wheeler

Eric took the girls up and down the street on a four wheeler that we borrowed to
help in landscaping our backyard.
They had so much fun. Mom was a bit nervous as usual.
